PACIFIC POKER REVIEW

RATING:
8/10 STARS
Pacific
Poker is on the move - they are constantly trying to improve
their site and gain new members through great promotions.
Many players play on Pacific Poker, and it is not difficult
to find a game. There are a ton of games and tournaments -
there are even single table tournament tables that feature
5 and 6 players, as opposed to the 10 player tables that are
the standard on Party Poker.
Note to laptop users with a
1600 x 1200 screen resolution: some problems with game performance
have been noted - try changing your resolution to something
closer to 800 x 600.

THE BEST THINGS ABOUT PACIFIC POKER
#1
Pacific Poker contains many loose, reckless players. Once you
encounter a table with some of these players, you will see how
easy it is to make money if you play fairly conservatively. Although
you will have to scout out the table to watch how the players
play, on many of the tables our design team has played at, betting
large amounts did not deter opponents away from folding. This
knowledge can be used to bet consistenently when you have a winning
hand, and expect callers that will call with nothing.
#2
They
have a great bonus policy - instead of having bonus money despoited
into a "bonus account" that is released to you after
playing a certain number of "raked hands," Pacific Poker
credits your account with the money instantly, and you can use
it right away. Scroll down to the bonus section for more information.
#3
Unlike
Party Poker, there are certain tournaments that have less than
10 players, which is good if you like smaller tables. Check out
the $20 buy-in 6 seat tournament, or the $30 buy-in 5 seater.
#4
Customer service is very good and any problems will be resolved
quickly. In addition, unlike some other online poker sites, Pacific
Poker offers telephone customer service technicians who are native
English speakers.
THE
WORST THINGS ABOUT PACIFIC POKER
The
design isn't as good as some other poker rooms and can be a little
confusing at first. But once you play here a few times, it gets
a little easier to figure out what's going on. If you are a beginner,
we recommend playing at Party Poker first to get the hang of online
poker, and then move on to other poker rooms later. While Pacific
Poker is certainly fun whatver your experience level, more experienced
players may be better able to take advantage of playing against
opponents who are very loose.
25% bonus on your first deposit,
up to $100 (no code required). Pacific Poker's bonus
policy is different than other sites: instead of
having to play a certain amount of "raked hands,"
you get the bonus credited instantly. In order to
cash out the bonus amount, you have to wager 20
times the amount you received. This means that if
you were given a $5 bonus, you'd have to wager $100
(play an $100 tournament, for example) and then
you could cash out your bonus amount.

COMPANY
FACTS/CONTACT INFO
"Cassava

recently took their company public, and the stock can be found

as the online gaming industry has absolutely taken off in the
last few years (if you are wondering, Party Poker is also a publically
traded company). The website is http://www.pacificpoker.com
and you can contact customer service by email at support@pacificpoker.com
or by telephone through the following numbers: USA & Canadian
residents dial 1-800-480-5186, UK residents dial 0-800-032-4228,
